Claude Meylan innovates, transforms, decorates, imagines, and embellishes the movements fitted in its creations.
A watchmaker’s brand from the Vallée de Joux, with a name known and recognized in the watchmaking world, Claude Meylan is the “Sculptor of Time” who plays with the different elements of the caliber to unveil certain twists and turns.
This summer, Claude Meylan plays with the feminine skeleton movements and offers fresh watercolors! They are available in pink, lilac or royal blue.
La Lionne is the name of the river that has its source in L’Abbaye the birthplace of Claude Meylan, where the house has been located since...the 18th century.

The Lionnes Dentelles bear specific codes and identity. Feminine and discreet, they come in a 35 mm steel case. In the center, a duly skeletonized mechanical movement, a watchmaking art of which Claude Meylan is the custodian and which gives these new pieces their lightness and natural elegance. Around the movement unfolds a pastel tone, fresh and rare in watchmaking, precisely called “Marie-Antoinette grey”. Originally, it was a white obtained with lead white lead. But, depending on its content, the original shade could be colored with this soft, discreet and luminous grey, which inspired Claude Meylan on its flange, which adorns the lilac and pink movements.
As for the royal blue movement, the flange is white to highlight the shades of blue and white so present in the Vallée de Joux.
Whether in a refined steel mesh or in technological satin or Alcantara and as a final touch, the various straps and bracelets sublimate the discreet elegance and charm of the Lionesse.
