Backed by more than a century of excellence in its field, Mouawad remains a family business. Its history begins at the end of the XIXth century, in Beirut, with David Mouawad opening his first boutique where he created complicated clocks for rich customers and repairs jewels and watches. In the 50s, Mouawad establishes in Saudi Arabia and becomes the unique jeweler of the realm. In 1970, the Mouawad brand moves its headquarters in Geneva.
The Mouawad brand has penetrated continents across the world, while retaining its eminent position as jewelers to royalty, high society, and celebrities.
Today, three Mouawad brothers head the family business: Fred Mouawad, the diamond division, Alain, the watch division and Pascal, the retail division.
