Audemars Piguet is launching three new Royal Oak Offshore models today in a mix of sizes, colours, textures and functions for all kinds of summer adventures. Let’s take a closer look.
The Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding 37mm
This cute new pink gold model was the first to catch my eye with its grey rubber-coated bezel and polished Grand Tapisserie dial that has been enhanced with rhodium and ivory tones for both a sporty and elegant look. Other details on the dial include a grey inner bezel and pink gold hour markers and trapezoidal hands that have been enhanced with luminescence.
This timepiece is fitted with a grey interchangeable rubber strap, featuring a pretty mosaic effect. It also comes with a black strap for a more contrasting look. The timepiece is powered by the manufacture’s latest automatic movement – the Calibre 5900 – which powers the hours, minutes, seconds and date, and features a 60-hour power reserve.

The Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding 43mm
Next up is this Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding model, which is housed in a 43mm stainless steel case with a blue rubber-coated bezel and matching rubber strap. This popular blue and steel colour palette continues onto the dial with a smoked blue Méga Tapisserie motif, blue inner bezel, and rhodium-toned gold trapezoidal hour markers, hands and AP monogram at 12 o’clock.
The timepiece features a screw-down crown for a water resistance of 100 metres and is powered by the manufacture’s patented automatic movement – Calibre 4302. It indicates the hours, minutes, seconds and date and features a 70-hour power reserve.

The Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 43mm
Last but by no means least, is this sporty 43mm stainless steel Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Flyback Chronograph. Marking a first for Audemars Piguet, the case comes with a combination of a steel bezel and black ceramic crown and push pieces. The watch’s colour scheme has been inspired by the warm hues of Habanos cigars with a smoked bronze Méga Tapisserie dial. The bronze dial darkens towards the edges, extending to the black inner bezel, where a tachymeter scale is printed in white. The counters at 9, 6 and 3 o’clock echo the ceramic and inner bezel to enhance legibility. The dial is completed with luminescent trapezoidal hour markers and hands in blackened gold. For this model, Audemars Piguet has chosen a brown alligator strap with an Oxford hand-finished patina, but there is also a black rubber strap for more sporty wear.
The movement here is the Calibre 4401, Audemars Piguet’s latest integrated chronograph that features a column wheel and vertical system to activate, stop and reset the chronograph. The movement offers a unique combination of complications by pairing a jumping hour with a flyback chronograph. The advantage of this mechanism is that it can take several measurements in a row, swiftly and effortlessly, by allowing its user to restart the chronograph without interrupting or resetting it first.

So, whatever your plans this summer, there is an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore just waiting to join you!
