1. A meteoric rise
He draws inspiration from his own story. His A-Cold-Wall* clothing line, launched when he was only 25, refers to the urban areas of his childhood neighborhoods, which shaped the beginnings of his creative process. At the age of 21, the child prodigy, as he is often called, was spotted by Virgil Abloh, who invited him to join ambitious projects alongside Kanye West, propelling him into the ranks of the great names in fashion and design. Since then, he has garnered an array of awards, distinctions and excellence-driven partnerships.

2. A creative genius
At just 30 years of age, his résumé is worthy of the greatest artists in his field. His approach is innovative and his design thoughtful. He is one of those scholars whose creative universe is boundless, ranging from sculpture to furniture, fashion and industrial design. His latest brand named SR_A, an industrial design studio, reflects his polymorphous creative force and earned him a place on Forbes “30-under-30” Europe list for 2020.
3. From sculpture to watchmaking
Winner of the 5th Hublot Design Prize in 2019 with the creation of a sculpture, he continues his collaboration with the brand by placing his multidisciplinary creativity at the service of the Big Bang tourbillon. Respecting the art of fusion, he has blended rubber with manufactured metal and played on transparency by creating a honeycomb mesh structure to give life – after three years of engineering – to the Big Bang Tourbillon SR_A. Representing a model of precision, finesse and refinement, its shiny beadblasted titanium case once again affirms the industrial character of Samuel Ross.
