The UR-103T « Shining T » was presented for the first time at Baselworld 2010 and first deliveries have already found their way onto the wrists of appreciative collectors. The UR-103T « Shining T » launches an elegant assault on the horological world with two lethal weapons: transparency and brilliance.

Transparency
The four hour satellites of the UR-103T « Shining T » are milled and polished from solid blocks of sapphire crystal. Sapphire is a material of beguiling contrast: its ethereal transparency evokes fragility, while its very name characterises hardness. Measuring 9 out of 10 on the Mohs scale of hardness, sapphire's mono-crystalline corundum structure resists the ravages of time with deceptive ease.

Each crystal satellite is carefully examined before assembly with meticulous jeweller's care to ensure flawless perfection.
Brillance
A unique marriage of red gold and AlTiN (Aluminium Titanium Nitride) endows the case of the UR-103T « Shining T » with its rare distinctive colour and provides it with a bright shimmering lustre.

The sublime beauty of the timepiece compliments rather than overshadows its primary purpose, i.e. providing a fresh new approach to telling the time. On the UR-103T « Shining T », the four transparent hour satellites take turns flying past the graduated 60 minute arc and simultaneously provide the time in both analogue and digital form. The UR-103T « Shining T » : Transparently Sensual Time.
