Tarantino muse Uma Thurman stepped on to the red carpet at "2013 Pierre Angénieux Excellens in Cinematography" event wearing a stunning diamond set worth 2.3 million USD by Mouawad. The set perfectly complimented her marvellous black dress accented by a glistening 50 carats of diamonds.
Uma was the second star selecting Mouawad haute joaillerie sets to make maximum impact in the Cannes limelight this week. The day before at the amFAR charity gala, Chinese superstar actress and model Zhang Ziyi wore a fabulous diamond set with over 21 carats of diamonds and worth a pretty sum of a 1 million US dollars.

Fred Mouawad, Co-Guardian of the Mouawad brand, said: “At Mouawad we have more than 123 years of heritage and over that time, our jewellery has graced some of the world’s most beautiful and influential women. We’re proud to continue in that tradition this week at Cannes, with Uma Thurman and Zhang Ziyi both choosing to be seen and to sparkle on the red carpet in some of our very finest diamonds; gems which have helped to make our family name synonymous with glamour, elegance and style over four generations.”
Ms Thurman and Ms Ziyi are just the latest in a list of international celebrities who have chosen to wear Mouawad in recent months, with Amy Adams selecting Mouawad for her Academy Awards appearance.
