After more than 11 years in the e-commerce business – with pick-up lounges in cities such as Berlin, Zurich, and Hong Kong – Chronext opens its first boutique in the heart of Munich. “It was clear to us that our first own boutique in Germany had to open in Munich – a city that reflects our standards of luxury and tradition and where we can offer an exclusive point of contact for watch lovers,” shares Frederike Knop, Managing Director of Chronext.
This new boutique now provides a physical space where customers can come and view a large selection of watches in Chronext’s collection in person and purchase them directly. They will also be able to bring in their privately owned watches for resale if they so choose. Like the Chronext lounges, the Munich store will also work as a pick-up point for watch lovers who have purchased watches on the company’s webshop and want to collect them in person. Finally, there will be a watch expert on site who can take care of small adjustments like fitting a new strap or adjusting a bracelet, so each client can walk out of the store wearing their new watch.
Located at Karlsplatz 1, the boutique is located on Munich’s most famous square and is just a stone’s throw from the city’s historic Palace of Justice, the Lenbachhaus and Oberpollinger. The space has been decorated to provide a modern design where customers can feel comfortable and at ease when viewing timepieces or discussing their watch business. Light-coloured flooring, oiled oak panelling and counters, ClassiCon furniture (including the “Odin” sofa in Chronext’s signature green colour), Luiz curtains, and stylish Occhio lighting on the ceilings, walls and in the shop windows all come together to provide a welcoming space.

The boutique is open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 5:30 pm at Karlsplatz 1, 80335 Munich.
