Eberhard & Co. renews its role as Official Timekeeper of the Genoa International Boat Show, one of the most prestigious events in the international nautical sector, which is gaining more relevance each year, in line with Italy’s consolidation as a global leader in the nautical market

Within the Show, whose spaces are being renovated thanks to the new Waterfront di Levante project designed by Renzo Piano, the Swiss Maison will host a spacious lounge in the Living the Sea area. On this occasion, the Teatro del Mare, a venue hosting a rich calendar of events and meetings, will be transformed into the Eberhard & Co. Theatre.

"We are proud to once again be the Official Timekeeper of the Show. The brand’s connection to the maritime world is profound and runs through our entire history, from its beginnings to the present day. To honor this connection, we will unveil a collector’s edition of the Scafograf, featuring a dial that symbolizes the waves – representing the passage of time, the seamless transition from past to present and the constant movement towards the future."

Mario Peserico, General Manager of Eberhard & Co.

The Show will serve as the exceptional setting for the preview of the Scafograf 200 Limited Edition "Onde Bleue": a special edition limited to 137 pieces of the iconic Scafograf diver’s watch, which in 1959 marked the beginning of the brand’s maritime adventure and remains one of the symbols of Eberhard & Co.’s history and present. A Maison that has sailed through the waves of time for 137 years and continues to embrace them.

The Scafograf 200 Limited Edition "Onde Bleue" features a special blue dial, decorated with an original light blue wave pattern representing the sea’s waves. These waves, with their constant ebb and flow, serve as an emblem of the passage of time. With a 43 mm stainless steel case, this diver's watch includes distinctive details reminiscent of the 1959 model, such as the hands and indexes. Like the original, the watch does not include a date display and features a caseback engraved with the historic starfish, a symbol of the collection since its creation. The blue theme, present on both the dial and the ceramic bezel, also extends to the integrated rubber strap, enhancing the sporty look of the watch. The timepiece is also available with a Chassis® steel bracelet, equipped with a 2CLICK® double-button clasp.
