The GMT Watch Safari was inaugurated this autumn to share our love of watchmaking at GMT Publishing with a wider audience. Watch lovers from around the world flew to Switzerland to experience a week full of horological activities. From manufacture visits, to discussions with CEOs, product discoveries, museum tours, and more, enabling each visitor to delve into the world of watchmaking.
The group visited big brands such as Louis Vuitton, Audemars Piguet, Piaget, Hublot, Zenith and Omega, as well as smaller independent brands including MB&F, H. Moser & Cie, Gerald Charles, and Jaquet Droz. The week ended with a private tour of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève exhibition at the Musée Rath, where they could touch and feel the watches in person. There were also surprise activities such as wine tastings with Justerini & Brooks.
