Certainly one of the most dynamic boutique independents, H. Moser & Cie. is a growing brand and a manufacture that is packed with talent. Chief Executive and owner Edouard Meylan and I have been friends for 24 years. For GMT’s 24th anniversary, we have introduced the first ever dual-time or GMT function to the Pioneer collection and matched it with the first ever Matrix Green Fumé dial in that collection (previously seen only on Streamliners) as well as the first ever appearance on a Pioneer dial of the Arabic numerals and hands from the Heritage collection. A tip of the hat to our magazine’s birthday and the GMT function, a tiny “24” at the 12 o’clock position further distinguishes this limited edition. What’s more, 12 of the 24 pieces are reserved for H. Moser & Cie. customers and 12 for GMT readers. Which one are you? Either way, your watch will be delivered with two interchangeable straps, in chestnut calfskin and orange rubber. Yet another first!
As founder and owner of GMT Publishing, it was my pleasure to sit down with Edouard Meylan and chat about the watch and the creative process. You can listen to our conversation in the video, above.
