Red opal, Mexican Chiapas Fanta opal, Brazilian yellow opal, Australian chrysoprase, Arizona topaz and Peruvian amethyst: six exceptional gemstones chosen by Beauregard for the six Lili Bouton watches in the ‘Jardin d'Hiver’ boxed set. Six creations, at the confluence of jewellery and watchmaking, in shades that echo the colours of a garden paradise.
The Lili Bouton watch is already a flower in its own right. Its dial is circled with petals, framed by a precious 33mm case in rose gold which is set with 88 Flawless diamonds and mounted on a satin strap. Multiple Lili Bouton watches together become a magnificent bouquet: Nature in all her splendour, protected by a presentation box. This ‘Jardin d'Hiver’ is an explosion of colour, cultivated by master craftsmen and women using time-honoured techniques comparable to métiers d’art. Art in conversation with time…

Each dial, swept by two central hands, is carved from a gemstone - opal, chrysoprase, topaz or amethyst – chosen for its exceptional colour then carefully sculpted and polished by hand. Such breathtaking beauty can only be achieved through sacrifice. The starting point for each of these supremely elegant dials is a non-negligeable quantity of gemstone. No less than five kilos, a considerable proportion of which - four and a half kilos – remains unused, which illustrates the rigorous and demanding nature of the process. Of the remaining five hundred grams, only a tiny fraction, some ten per cent, will be meticulously crafted into the petals that transform the dial into a work of art.

‘Jardin d'Hiver’ brings a fresh perspective on women’s timepieces. Beauregard will make only six sets at a rate of one per year, guaranteeing that this will be a coveted piece for collectors.
