Editorial – On Your Marks, Get Set, Watches and Wonders
To kick off the week, our Editorial Director Sophie Furley shared some pretty exciting news (Taylor Swift concert frenzy-worthy) – the drop of the Watches and Wonders tickets! In case you haven’t gotten yours already, head on over here for all of the details.
Equestrian Encounters
As you might have guessed from our dog-walking series, we love animals over here at WorldTempus (if you ever come by our office, you will be greeted by a few licks and wagging tails by our doggie residents!). So we simply couldn’t resist compiling some of our favourite animal-inspired watches - this time all about horses!

The Ceramic That Will Outlive the Human Race
Next up is a science fiction movie-worthy topic: silicon nitride ceramic. A super tough, ultra-hard material that literally falls from the sky and whose theoretical lifespan is several million years. It comes as no surprise that Omega decided to use it for the case of its Planet Ocean Dark Grey. Read the full story here.
Love Is in the Air
Moving along, Valentine’s Day is almost here! For some of us, that fact might be cause for excitement, while for others utter dread (perhaps because a gift has yet to be purchased?)... For the latter, fear not: we have got your back! We have curated a selection of eight watches that any Valentine would be thrilled to receive (even if that Valentine is none other than yourself)!

Dragon Profusion
Speaking of key events, the Chinese New Year is upon us! And to celebrate its arrival, watch brands are throwing themselves on the most spectacular creature in the Chinese Zodiac: the Wooden Dragon. Our correspondent David Chokron has assembled the best new fire-breathing releases here.
New Releases
Last but not least, for our new releases of the week, we have the Jaquet Droz Imperial Dragon Automaton Red Gold, the Urwerk UR-100V - Lightspeed and the Zenith Chronomaster Sport Titanium.
