Since its launch in 2019, the Alpine Eagle Collection has been seducing watch lovers the world over with its sporty case and bracelet and captivating eagle iris dial. But there is more to the watches than just good looks as the collection was also created as a way to raise awareness about the challenges facing the alpine eagle.
In this video we interview The Alpine Eagle Foundation founders, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele (also co-president of Chopard) and Jacques-Olivier Travers (also creator of Les Aigles du Léman bird sanctuary), based in Switzerland and France respectively, to better understand the challenges these birds are facing across Europe.
We also discover how new GPS tracking technology is revealing data about the eagles that was unknown just a few years ago, rewriting the books about their behaviour and helping us to better protect them in the future.
