If you have expensive taste like me, you will love the watches I am taking on my trip to Dubai

Today, I am taking you to one of my favorite places in the world, Dubai, where I am going to reveal three gorgeous spots and show you which watches I would pick to match the location.

Dubai was my home for three years, and I absolutely loved living there. Although many people are skeptical when it comes to this crazy city, I would definitely recommend a visit. It has so much to offer, and if you like watches (which I assume you do if you are reading this), Dubai does not disappoint!

Thanks to Dubai’s safety, watches are on wrists and not locked in safes. So, I went all out for today’s watch selection.

Brunch at Cassette

First things first, breakfast. So, let’s start at Cassette, a modern Parisian bistro in Al Quoz. Now, during my usual work week, I am an early bird, but during the holidays, you will find me rolling out of bed at 10 am and getting to Cassette by 11 am. Before heading out, though, I make sure my wrist is not too lonely. So, to start my day strong, I am taking my Royal Oak on a breakfast date.

With its 18-carat pink gold case, diamond-set bezel and “Grande Tapisserie” blue dial, it will never look out of place in Dubai. Although I am usually in team yellow gold, fashion icon Tamara Kalinic has convinced me that pink gold is not to be overlooked!

This gorgeous watch is perfect for Cassette. Now let me tell you what you should order. For coffee, get the cold brew. For food, if you are a savory breakfast girl like me, get the no-carb benedict, if you are a sweet breakfast girl, then get the buttermilk pancakes. Both slap!

Tanning at Be Beach

Now that I am caffeinated and full and the UV index is no lower than 7, I am heading to Be Beach to top up my tan. A new location means a new watch, of course. And what better timepiece than an RM 07-04 to soak in the sun?

Weighing only 36 grams, this is Richard Mille’s lightest women’s watch. You might argue that this stunner was made for performance, but in this scenario, it screams off-duty athlete. With a 50m water resistance, my watch is coming with me for a dip, and so is my cheeky Spritz (credits to @audrey.peters for inventing the term).

After becoming three shades darker, spotting watches on other wrists, and digesting my truffle fries, I am ready to head to my next location, about an hour's drive from Dubai.

Staying at EDITION Abu Dhabi

I wanted to switch it up and take you to another Emirate tonight. Today’s last location is the EDITION hotel located in downtown Abu Dhabi next to a marina. With a gorgeous exterior and interior inspired by the country’s culture and traditions, this place is worth the ride. To match the hotel’s contemporary elegance, I am wearing a Santos de Cartier.

I picked the jaw-dropping rhodium-finished white gold case with both bezel and case set with brilliant-cut diamonds and grey alligator strap Santos de Cartier.
