Lorige

There are sources of inspiration... and then there's raw, uncompromising craftsmanship. At Lorige, the passion for "LMP" racing cars (Le Mans Prototype) is not expressed as a tribute or a wink, but through the uncompromising use of real functional and critical components from LMP cars—the brake pads—to create a powerful watch case. Each watch is forged from carbon/carbon composite, or C/C, a material made by adding carbon fibers into a graphite matrix.
After three years of development, Lorige has mastered the process of transforming the carbon, heated to extreme temperatures (up to 900°C) from LMP car brakes, into two watch cases (per brake pad), with exceptional finish and extraordinary resistance. Each piece is unique in its story and design. A piece of history on your wrist, without compromise.
Inside these cases beats two types of Swiss-made movements, assembled in Geneva: a two-hand movement with date and power reserve for Lorige's flagship model, the BL-Endurance, available in gray, blue, and hyperblack; and the AS-01 with a central tourbillon. Each piece is unique due to the singular appearance of its carbon, its exceptional history, and the design of its case, which is part of strictly limited collections (8 to 24 pieces maximum).
