From the outset, Hublot has embodied design and innovation that differ markedly from the established watchmaking order. With the impetus provided by Jean-Claude Biver, by 2004 these values had already become the basis of a new DNA, leading the brand, which is currently headed by Ricardo Guadalupe - its CEO since 2012, to develop particularly audacious timepieces – most of them with a highly-developed sporting aspect.

Hublot is a Swiss watchmaker based in Nyon that was founded in 1980.  This fundamentally revolutionary firm paired gold with a rubber strap in a casing inspired by a ship's porthole (hublot in French) for its inaugural watch. Thus was born the Art of Fusion, a synthesis of tradition, innovation, craftsmanship, worlds, and skills. It became the aesthetic and technical trademark of the brand.

This identity was reinforced in 2005 by the Big Bang, which demonstrated unrivaled know-how in terms of difficulties, manufacturing operations, and cutting-edge materials. Carbon, titanium, ceramic, and sapphire have been developed to technical extremities on this model.
This innovative, high-quality approach to watchmaking is summed up in the company's motto of 'Be First, Unique, and Different.' Other collections with new designs followed, including Classic Fusion, Shaped Collection (Spirit of Big Bang, Square Bang), and Manufacture Pieces. These rely on high levels of craftsmanship, both in terms of materials (such as Magic Gold, brightly colored ceramics, and sapphires) and manufacture movements (Unico chronograph, Meca-10, and large complications such as the Tourbillon, Cathedral Minute Repeater, and specific Manufacture Pieces movements).

The world of Hublot includes prestigious alliances like football. The catchphrase "Hublot Loves Football" has been adopted by the company's spokespeople and the major athletic events in the world (such as the FIFA World CupTM, FIFA Women’s World Cup TM, Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and UEFA EUROTM). Football continues to be a passion in fine dining, sailing, music, art, design, and sport.

Finally, Hublot's involvement in collaborative environmental projects with SORAI and Polar Pod demonstrates its sensitivity for current challenges. Nearly 130 boutiques worldwide share in Hublot's passion and values, complementing the Hublot.com e-commerce platform.
